Project goals:

The project's wide objective is to have the project area (on the Hungarian side of the 30 km zone) mainly the province: Porabje, Őrség, Göcsej, Hetés), while on the Slovenian side it is rural, from the tourist point of view of the peripheral landscape of the areas Lendava, Murska Sobota and Ptuj) positioning, promoting and selling as an attractive tourist destination and presenting specific elements of the natural and cultural heritage of individual areas and supporting them to develop into a unified attraction in a complex product. All of this can become even more successful if in addition to products of significant character, further products that motivate travel or marketing begin to be sold. software packages that contain a combination of different products. The elements of complex guidance, in addition to ensuring border crossing with the help of a bicycle connection as a basic infrastructure condition, further strengthen the integration of peripheral areas into the tourist offer. So far, the project area does not appear as a single, common tourist destination, and therefore the number of tourist visits and overnight stays in relation to the tourist potential is low. The reason for this is the lack of cooperation between stakeholders, program packages of attractions / services, tourist positioning of the area and joint marketing.

Results:

As a realization of the specific objectives of the project, a complex system of directing visitors through its elements will be established (infocart, experience card, visitors' guidance system, tourist guiding application, education of volunteer guides, border of the border region, capacity building for tourist providers) The periphery became part of the tourist offer. Through the promotion / communication activity, which is realized with the aim of informing and raising awareness (press trails, participation in events, publications, paid press releases and promotional footage), the project area as a common tourist destination will gain the attention of the profession and potential visitors. By building a bicycle connection between Andovci-Budinci and. the section between the state border and the Andovans would significantly improve the transitability of the border area. The project's contribution to the fulfillment of the program indicator is as follows: the starting point is the evaluation of the habits of visitors with the survey method, and for the measurement of the number of overnight stays, the starting point will be taken as the year 2016. Based on the collected information, we will install readers of the QR code in the tourist values that we can promote piece): The tourist guidance application, which will be established within the project, will be trained to combine the use of QR reading with regional sites and by determining the location of users criteria, and will rank the users as one day longer visits and thus the number of overnight stays in the project area. By placing QR codes, the most reliable way to prove the contact of tourists with our project, is that the stay is the result of our project.
