The possibilities for competition on transport market and stimulation of logistic service in a sense of global planning of external logistic, cooperation of industry and transporters, management of providing chains are being assured with development of logistic centre; with that the effective economics supply, the possibility for employment in transport sector and bigger economics competition in World Trade are being achieved.

- To assure sustainable conditions for development of competitive economy and long-term assurance of higher quality living space in common region.

- Set objectives upon modules:

Module 1

(Making concept and development strategy of logistic centre with content of programmes; making a comparability study of location with analysis; urbanism planning; reestablishment of contacts and cooperation between local communities in region, local communities in trans-boundary regions, Ministry departments and government, undertakings  in region; completing strategic investment plan; completing individual action plan of marketing; informing the public; making methodology of networking the logistic centre.) 

Module 2

The objective of suggesting feasibility study is examination and evaluation of three possible corridor variants on the working level of feasibility study.

(Review and assessment of existent studies regarding new data; market potential of the new line; simplified judgment of the effects on the environment; evaluation of the investment values; evaluation of the traffic flow and market potential of the new connection; assessment of advantages and disadvantages)

Module 3

Through reciprocal high qualification of workers it shall be:

a)     improved cooperation of industrial and small-trade plans,

b)     possible trans-boundary cooperation on local and regional level and so

c)      raised the competitiveness in region.

(Adjustment and setting up expert groups; forming guideline for institutes and mentors; making pilot presentation of “Train-the-trainer” education; network structure; highlighting the need for education for undertaking in logistic field.)

Module 1 (completed concept and development strategy of logistic centre; completed  comparability study of location with analysis and suitability evaluation; urban plan with 3D model; established contacts and cooperation between local communities in region, local communities in trans-boundary regions, Ministry departments and government, undertakings in region; completed strategic investment plan; completed individual action plan of marketing; completed 3D model of the centre; animation of Slovenian and international partners on market; made methodology of networking the logistic centre.) 

Module 2 (The study of new alternative railway connection; tentatively evaluate the investment costs; working study; economic and financial study; social-economic and market research; analysis of geologic and hydro-geologic conditions; market potential study of the new line; study of the trace line; feasibility study of the 3 possible corridor variants.)

Module 3 (Guidelines for educational institutions and mentors; guidelines for evaluation of the programmes and mentors; curriculum for joint education “Train-the-trainer”; definition and/or foundation of educational institution for logistic and transport field; forming the system for certificate licence upon ELA standards in Slovenia; mentors network; experts network)
