International projects

International projects are an opportunity for SRC Bistra to participate in various activities across Europe and the world. International projects coordinated within the institution are oriented towards the promotion of solidarity and awareness of the global co-dependence and social exclusiveness, interregional cooperation, tourism, environment preservation, preservation of cultural heritage and cooperation. Through them we support exchange and cooperation between organizations, institutions and entities within the European region.

	HIKING & BIKING » The purpose of the project is to form common trans-boundary integrated tourist products, to assure a common market communication and to position the project area as area of quality tourist products. To establish grounding for development of throughout the year attraction of project area with movement of knowledge and experience exchange. Special emphasis of the project goes to internationalization, which depends on realization of promotion activities outside the program area (main market: Germany, Benelux, Czech-republic, Croatia, Hungary and Italy) Duration: march 2009 - december 2011 Value of the project: 2.916.005,00 €
	CITY COOPERATION » Within the project City Cooperation a close cooperation between cities of the border regions in East Austrian Styria, East Slovenia and Southeast Hungary will be established for the first time, with intent to form a common future. Duration: may 2008 - october 2012 Value of the project: 1.800.000,00 €
	TRILOC » The possibilities for competition on transport market and stimulation of logistic service in a sense of global planning of external logistic, cooperation of industry and transporters, management of providing chains are being assured with development of logistic centre; with that the effective economics supply, the possibility for employment in transport sector and bigger economics competition in World Trade are being achieved. Duration: may 2009 - october 2011 Value of the project: 1.128.015,00 €
	ZERO WASTE » The project "ZERO WASTE" aims at developing an integrated Zero-waste management system with the aim to minimize waste production and to maximize resources and energy in the areas participating in the project, as well as to systematically and dramatically reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills and dumps. Duration: may 2009 - april 2012 Value of the project: 1.303.596,00 €
	Agro-Environmed » The AGRO-ENVIRONMED project aims at promoting eco-innovation in companies, particularly SMEs, within the Mediterranean agrofood sector, through the creation of a platform that will involve most relevant key players in the field of eco-innovation and environmental technologies within the agro-food sector. Duration: june 2009 - october 2011 Value of the project: 1.788.000,00 €
